Forestry Progress Presented At ArborFest Tree Summit

About a dozen people attended Columbus’ first Tree Summit at the Park of Roses shelter house on Saturday—just one of many events taking place at ArborFest, but an essential part of the city’s Urban Forestry Master Plan (UFMP). Representatives from Green Columbus and Recreation & Parks presented for about an hour about the implementation of the UFMP, and asked for crowd suggestions on what next steps should be taken.
